The role of the support worker will involve providing practical, emotional and cognitive support to help our service users achieve their goals. Some roles also involve personal care
The roles involve shift work including weekends and bank holidays. Full and part time work is available
Our ideal candidate for the role of a support worker
You'll have experience of working with customers who present with multiple and complex needs. We're looking for enthusiastic, flexible and dedicated individuals who are able to work on their own initiative. Key to this role is a people focused approach, with the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds effectively and diffuse any given situation.
Successful candidates as a support worker will play an active part in creating a homely and safe environment for service users. You will work with other professionals to meet service users’ individual needs, implementing care plans, provide guidance and support in assisting the promotion of self-help, personal life skills, emotional awareness and act as a positive role model within the team.
Must haves:
* A minimum of 1 years' experience
* Experience of personal care
* Manual handling experience
* DBS on the update system or a new DBS will be required
